Evelyn hires Birmingham Planner from Henwood Court
National Financial Planner and wealth manager Evelyn Partners has appointed Declan Kirby as a Chartered Financial Planner for its Birmingham office.
He joins from Sutton Coldfield-based Henwood Court Financial Planning where he was a Chartered Financial Planner.
He focuses on working with senior executives, business owners and professionals, and is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
Mr Kirby is a keen sportsman, playing football, tennis and golf as well as enjoying sailing and skiing. Some of his achievements include representing the Edgbaston Priory Tennis Club Men’s 3rd Team, completing a half marathon and being the University of Birmingham’s 1st Team Football Captain.
He will be based at Evelyn Partners’ Birmingham office at 103 Colmore Row.

Evelyn Partners was created following the merger of Tilney and Smith & Williamson in 2020. It has £59.1billion of assets under management (as at 31 December 2023) and is the seventh largest UK accountancy firm ranked by fee income (source: Accountancy Age 50+50 rankings, 2023).
It has a network of offices across 30 towns and cities in the UK, as well as the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands.
Gross inflows to the firm climbed 50% to £2.1bn in Q4 2023, according to a trading update published last week.
Full year operating income rose 14.6% to £183.2 million (2022: £159.8 million).
During 2023 the firm acquired four accountancy and tax advisory firms including in Q4 the acquisitions of Creaseys in Tunbridge Wells and Harwood Hutton in Beaconsfield.
