Clarion Wealth expands with bigger office and more staff
North West Chartered Financial Planner Clarion Wealth has expanded into a new 5,600 square, foot three-storey headquarters in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, due to growing demand for the firm’s ‘lifelong’ approach to Financial Planning.
The Chartered Financial Planning firm has moved to new offices in the heart of Alderley Edge after it outgrew its previous offices in Knutsford as the business expanded with the team growing 25 % in the last 12 months.
Clarion employs 16 people and has taken on five new members of staff in the last 12 months – with two notable senior appointments of Keith Thompson as non-exec chairman and Financial Planner Sam Petts, who joined from London firm Killik & Co.
Clarion has also invested in a rebrand, overhauling its logo, introducing a new strapline and developing a new website to showcase its lifelong approach to Financial Planning.
Founder Ron Walker said: “Our move and new look forms a key part of our vision for Clarion – to help even more successful business owners enjoy the serious business of life.
“We are proud of our expertise and 30-year heritage, ensuring this remains central to everything we do and shines through in our new look was very important. While we’ve grown and moved to a new headquarters, we’re still providing the same comprehensive and personal service to our clients, something that we’re determined will never change.”
Clarion is a firm believer in the modern Financial Planning profession, with Ron Walker a founder member of the Institute of Financial Planning which merged with the CISI in 2015. The firm specialises in developing and implementing bespoke long-term plans for successful individuals and their families, particularly business owners intending to exit or capitalise their business.
The firm has recently commissioned independent research, believed to be the first of its kind globally, to gain a greater understanding of the psychological stresses business owners face when going through the process of selling their business.
