Expanding Financial Planner and wealth manager Independent Wealth Planners UK (IWP UK) has acquired West Midlands based Financial Planning firm Beyond Financial.

Beyond Financial will join IWP’s regional hub Alexander Grace.

Beyond Financial was established in 2007 and the team has over 100 years of combined experience. It is based in Solihull and has £58m of assets under advice.

Tony O’Driscoll will remain as a director of the firm and will continue to lead Beyond Financial’s team of Paraplanners and administrators.

Beyond Financial is the latest of several acquisitions for the fast-expanding group. Earlier this month IWP acquired Scottish Financial Planning firm Gilmour Hamilton Wealth Management in a move to extend its presence north of the border.

IWP, which has made numerous acquisitions in recent years, said that while it acquires local firms it leaves the day to day management in the hands of local teams, who may also retain some ownership of the business.
