Johnston Carmichael Wealth, part of accountancy and business advisory firm Johnston Michael, has expanded to Dundee following two senior appointments based the city.

Lauren Whitters and Duncan Fernie, who collectively have a combined 25 years' experience in financial services, join the team as Financial Planners as Johnston Carmichael Wealth plans further growth.

The wealth team now has six members of staff in Dundee, with employee numbers in the wider Johnston Carmichael regional hub in the city up from three when it opened in 2019 to 40.

Other recent additions to the team in the past year include the appointment of Chartered Financial Planner Martin Hendry to its Glasgow office, increasing its presence in the Central Belt.

Johnston Carmichael Wealth employs a total of over 60 staff, forming Financial Planning, business and client support teams across the UK as part of Johnston Carmichael, Chartered Accountancy and Business Advisory firm.  

The wealth team specialises in Financial Planning and advice on personal and business affairs such as investment and retirement planning, estate planning, and personal and business protection.

The Johnston Carmichael business employs a total of 900 across Scotland, the north of England and London. It is an independent member of Moore Global Network Limited, a global accounting and advisory network of over 30,000 advisers across more than 260 independent firms and 110 countries.
