Financial consultancy the lang cat is providing free updates on how platforms are responding to Covid-19 and MiFID 10% drop reporting.
The company says it will give free access to information on operational responses by advised platforms.
The information will be available on its new Platform Analyser service here: https://platformanalyser.thelangcat.com/Account/Login
The lang cat says it will host this information in the free area of its newly-launched due diligence tool to help Financial Planners access important information easily.
The regularly updated data covers the majority of the advised platform market, with more platforms updating information through their own client portals.
Terry Huddart, head of proposition at the lang cat, said: "Covid-19 is impacting how we all do business. Platforms are no exception. It’s encouraging to see how willing platforms are to share their current operational details and their approaches to MiFID 10% drop reporting.
“We’re pleased to be in a position – through our close ties and digital connections with the platform market - to be able to collate such information for advice professionals and help make it easily and freely obtainable. It's still early days for platforms and we’re committed to expanding this data as providers continue to share their impressive operational responses with us.”
