More Financial Planning talent recognised at IFP conference
Two more Financial Planners were honoured at the Institute of Financial Planning conference this afternoon for their roles in Financial Planning.
Dennis Hall from Yellowtail Financial Planning received the ‘Tony Sellon Memorial Prize ‘Good Egg’ Award’.
This was given for his enthusiasm in social media, work in the promotion of Financial Planning and for doing “that little bit extra.”
This award was won last year by Martin Vaughan of Paragon Planning.
The following award was awarded for ‘Branch Chairman of the Year’ and this went to Robert Stevenson who is Chairman of the Northern Ireland branch.
Claire Menni from the Surrey branch and Paul Jones from the North West branch were both highly commended.
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, said: “The Branch Chairman in particular contribute a lot to the ongoing success of the organisation.
“We are hard task masters and give out KPIs which is a lot for a volunteer role but the response has been tremendous and we have seen growth in attendance and feedback on the content of the sessions.”
Earlier in the day Gary Tunstall from Brook Dobson Brear, Fiscal Engineers and Joshua Guile won prizes for Paraplanner of the Year, David Norton ‘Building Excellence’ Award and Financial Planning Student of the Year respectively.
