More than 35 firms to offer free Financial Planning surgeries

More than 35 Financial Planning firms nationwide are to offer free Financial Planning surgeries to the public as part of the IFP's consumer-focused Financial Planning Week 2015.

The IFP is urging as many planning firms as possible to join in the initiative to spread the message about the value of Financial Planning in its broadest sense. Financial Planning Week runs from 23 to 29 November this year and full details are available on the IFP website www.financialplanning.org.uk.

Sue Whitbread, IFP communications director, said: "We are thrilled so many firms are offering free Financial Planning surgeries this year and the number is set to grow. We're particularly pleased to have near-national coverage from firms such as Mazars. Any more firms wishing to take part can get in touch for details."

All member firms are urged to engage in PR and communications activities during the week to promote Financial Planning and taking care of savings.
