The newly appointed chief executive of a Financial Planning firm has described the business as a 'hidden gem' of the Financial Planning sector.
Boutique Financial Planning and wealth management practice Aspinalls has hired Matthew Parden, who has over twenty years of experience in the industry. The firm specialises in private office services.
Mr Parden said: "I am very much looking forward to working with David and the excellent team here at Aspinalls, which is a hidden gem in the Financial Planning and wealth management market.
“We believe that there are great opportunities for firms such as Aspinalls which provide a truly differentiated service to individuals, their families, and businesses."
Mr Parden's career includes seventeen years at Duncan Lawrie Private Bank, where he worked as finance director as well as group managing director.
He was a physics graduate who subsequently qualified as a chartered accountant before starting his career in the financial services industry.
Aspinalls said it had rapidly grown in recent years. It has launched new services to complement its financial advisory and private office businesses, including the recent launch of Buckingham Street Capital, a discretionary fund manager.
David Aspinall, executive chairman, said: "I am delighted that Matthew has joined us. His wide-ranging expertise and experience will be invaluable in supporting me in growing our client-focussed business through times of exciting change."
