North West Financial Planning firm Foresight Wealth Strategists has made its first acquisition with the purchase of Bury-based Independent Financial Adviser Platinum Socially Responsible Investments for an undisclosed sum. 

Platinum SRI was founded in 2007 and specialises in socially responsible and ethical investments.

The deal will add £35m in assets under management to Foresight plus 160 clients.  

Foresight Wealth Strategists is a Chartered Financial Planning practice based in Hale, Cheshire. It specialises in providing holistic Financial Planning advice in areas such as investment, retirement, protection and estate planning. 

Foresight said the deal forms part of its strategic long-term plan along with organic growth.
