Financial Planner Online tops 2,000 Twitter Followers
Financial Planner Online has hit a major milestone this week after topping 2,000 Twitter followers.
News and views from the website are regularly tweeted on the social media service and Financial Planner Online has increased our followers since the same time last year by nearly 1,000. About 500 followers have joined since December.
Kevin O'Donnell, editor and publisher at Portfolio Publishing, said: "This is a great milestone for Financial Planner Online.
"Gaining nearly 1,000 new followers in the past year is a major step forward for a relatively new site and is indicative of the increasing interest among Financial Planning professionals in our news coverage and the excellent content that we provide. We're delighted to reach 2,000 Followers.
"Twitter is a good way to communicate with our audience and our tweets often spark debate and comment in the online Financial Planning community, which is always interesting to follow.

"With so many Financial Planning and Paraplanning professionals on Twitter, using the site frequently now as part of their daily routine, we see no reason why more shouldn't want to link to Financial Planner Online. If you're already a follower we hope you will recommend us to your tweeps, colleagues and friends."
Twitter is just one of the ways readers can get direct links and updates to our news and content online.
Daily and weekly email alerts are sent to our subscribers direct to their email inboxes, giving immediate news about what's going on in the world of finance and the Financial Planning profession.
Mr O'Donnell said: "It is free to sign up as a subscriber to our email alerts. Signing up on the homepage takes less than 30 seconds and ensures readers don't miss anything. We recommend it for all Financial Planners, Paraplanners, Wealth Managers and anyone working in financial services."
He added: "Thanks very much to all those who already follow us on Twitter or subscribe to our email service and also those who contribute by writing for us or providing comments on the stories and features we cover. We're very glad to have you on board."
