Perspective acquires £160m Warwickshire Planner
Rapidly-growing Financial Planner and wealth manager Perspective has acquired Warwickshire-based Financial Planning firm Beanland Financial Services.
The firm has also welcomed new regional operations director Gary Cairns who joins from Chase de Vere.
The Beanland deal adds 560 clients and £160m in assets under management.
It has pushed group assets under management for the Financial Planning group to £4bn. It also adds an additional location for Perspective, taking the firm to 19 offices across the UK.
The acquisition is the first for the firm this year.
Perspective made eight acquisitions in 2021 including Financial Planning firm St Lawrence in Kent, Chippenham-based Avon Financial Advisers, Prolific Financial Services in Cheshire, Evolve Financial Management in Kent, Bowman Financial Planning in Oxfordshire, and Quantum Portfolio Management in Lancashire.
John Garvey and Colin Pritchard, directors of Beanland, said they were looking at a number of options for succession planning when they decided the best solution for clients and staff was to seek a merger with a larger partner.
Both will remain with the firm as Financial Planners and will continue to lead the Alcester, Warwickshire, office.
Perspective has also expanded its leadership team with the creation of a new role of regional operations director.
Mr Cairns has taken up the role from Chase de Vere where he was senior manager in Yorkshire, leading the personal wealth division.
Previously, he held roles at HSBC and Bank of Scotland.
