Perspective hires ex-Schroders Financial Planning exec
Expanding Financial Planner Perspective Financial Group has recruited Dan Stokoe, a former regional head at Schroders Personal Wealth.
Mr Stokoe started work Perspective this month and has been appointed principal designate of the group’s office in Chorley, Lancashire.
Earlier this week Lancashire-based Perspective revealed plans to acquire more than 10 adviser firms over the next few months after announcing its 39th acquisition, Darlington-based Financial Planning firm Atkinson White Partnership.
Prior to working at Schroders Personal Wealth, the Financial Planning business jointly owned by Schroders and Lloyds Banking Group, he spent 30 years with Lloyds Banking Group in senior management roles in wealth planning. He was previously head of the central and east region for Schroders Personal Wealth.
Ian Wilkinson, chief executive of Perspective, said: “We are delighted that Dan has joined us. This is a further step in delivering the group’s stated strategy of growth through both acquisitions and organic growth.
“The North West region has considerable growth potential for us and we look forward to Dan using his experience and expertise to help shape our developments in this area.”
Mr Stokoe said: “I am delighted to join Perspective at such an exciting time. I share the passion of the group in their client-centric and professional approach.
“It has been brilliant to see how Perspective retains the benefits of local offices and their long term relationships, whilst combining this with the strength of the national business.”
