Planner sets up technology help site Advisertech
Pete Matthew CFPCM, Financial Planner at Jackson Wealth, is setting up a technology website called Advisertech.
Advisertech will teach people, particularly focusing on financial advisers, how to optimise the Internet, content marketing and social media.
Mr Matthew expects to fully-launch the site in September and feature step-by-step videos, reviews, interviews and live Q&A sessions.
He said he would also be focusing on how to use social media and blogs compliantly as this was a big area of concern for Financial Planners.
There will be subscription charge to use the site but Mr Matthew said he was undecided on how much the charge would be.
He said: "I think the site will meet a need and I'd like to see a thriving collaborative community develop who want to learn how to succeed in the new world. The basics of marketing are still the same, it's just the tools that have changed."

The site draws on Mr Matthew's success with his Meaningful Money website which was set up in 2010. He has since posted over 250 videos on topics such as Financial Planning, tax, long-term care and savings.
Meaningful Money is now the second-biggest source of new clients to Jackson Wealth and receives hundreds of views every day.
As a result he is regularly asked to give sessions and conference but said this was impractical as he is based in Cornwall. Instead he hoped Advisertech would be able to show people online and teach them the basics.
