Prestwood, a company which provides cashflow modeling software to Financial Planners and Paraplanners, is to launch a new “next generation” version of its Truth software in October at the CISI-IFP Financial Planning conference.

The radical new version comes after a year of intensive development. The software is cloud-based and has a new look plus a number of significant changes such as the ability for planners to ‘animate’ statements to help bring changes to cashflow modelling to life for clients.

Paul Etheridge, chairman of the Prestwood Group of companies, said: “Prestwood was developed by planners for planners.

“We conduct regular research amongst our users identifying new tools they would like to help enhance the service they give their clients. After a year of intense software development, the new version of Truth has delivered exactly what our users asked for.”

The company says that enhancements include:

• All statements can be animated – so Financial Planners can show a moving picture to clients and watch the graphics change through the projected years

• There is a touch mode for tablets, phones and hand held devices

• Bespoke dashboards allow Financial Planners to put any charts from any statements on the same screen.

• Multiple monitors can be used

Other new updates include:

• Rate stepper – allows the Financial Planner to take select investments or assets up or down ¼% to see how this will affect the cashflow
• Investment wrap integrations with Truth
