Quilter appoints distribution director for platform business
Quilter has appointed Karen Blatchford as distribution director of its UK platform business Old Mutual Wealth.
Ms Blatchford will join the platform from within the group where she has been head of product and marketing for Quilter International.
Previous to joining the Quilter group, she was sales and marketing director for retail investments at Legal & General Investment Management and partnerships director at Legal & General, including sales through the Cofunds Platform.
She will move into the role from 1 January and will report the Steven Levin, the CEO of Old Mutual Wealth.
Ms Blatchford succeeds Scott Goodsir who is leaving Old Mutual Wealth in February and plans to take time out of the industry. He has held the role since January 2014.

Quilter’s UK platform business has been part the Quilter group since the wealth manager and Financial Planner, formerly known as Old Mutual Wealth, listed and separated from Old Mutual in 2018.
