Quilter Cheviot has appointed Nick Holmes as managing director to support the firm’s ongoing growth strategy and drive a number of new initiatives.
Mr Holmes joined the firm from Brooks Macdonald where he has spent his entire career to date, starting as an trainee investment manager 22 years ago and rising through the ranks to become managing director; leading the investment management business between 2008 and 2018.
Quilter Cheviot chief executive, Andrew McGlone, said: “I am delighted to welcome Nick to our business as we share a similar vision of the opportunities and challenges our industry faces.

A total of 14 investment managers have joined Quilter Cheviot across 10 of its offices this year to date and last month plans were revealed to open a fourteenth office in Leeds.
