Record adviser sales push AXA's platform assets above £7bn
AXA Wealth Elevate has passed the £7bn in assets under management benchmark with total sales of over £1.6bn in the year to date.
The release of the figures follows the refresh of the platform earlier this year with a new look and feel and enhanced accessibility for advisers and their clients.
David Thompson, managing director, AXA Wealth Elevate, said: "The growth in sales and total assets demonstrates the strength of the advice market during what continues to be a challenging market environment.
"We are only as good as the advisers we work with and the growth is a reflection of the confidence they have placed in us to help them do the best job possible for their clients. The support that advisers have shown demonstrates that we seem to be meeting their needs.
"As the platform market matures, technology and service are increasingly important battlegrounds for platform providers. We are determined to stay ahead of the game and respond to the needs of advisers who rightly want platforms to help them better service their clients.

"That is why we have made the recent enhancements to the platform, which have modernised the look and feel and improved its compatibility with different internet browsers and new mobile devices and tablets. Of course we will keep investing and improving the functionality and usability of the platform so that it moves with the times and continues to work in the ways that advisers need it to.
"The Retail Distribution Review was a challenge which we were able to meet through our investment but the regulatory change has not stopped there with the new platform paper rules being implemented over the next three years, together with HMRC's decision to tax rebates. We were again well placed to meet these challenges and the shift to new clean share classes."
The AXA Group has more than 160,000 employees serving 102m clients in 57 countries. In the UK AXA operates through a number of business units including: AXA Wealth, AXA Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary, AXA Personal Direct and Partnerships, AXA PPP healthcare, AXA Ireland and an independent distribution business Bluefin. AXA employs over 10,500 staff in the UK.
