Return of PFS Forces as event lands in London
Star Wars themes meet Financial Planning again today as the PFS Forces conference will awaken at London’s O2 after reaching the north last week.
Stormtroopers, TIE fighters and Jedis all formed an unlikely alliance with Financial Planners last week when the event was held at the Macron Stadium, in Bolton and there will be similar themes today with up to 1,000 people attending.
The two-day Financial Planning Symposium event takes place at the InterContinental Hotel next to the 02 today and tomorrow and will feature speakers including Conservative MP John Redwood, UCL’s Frank Witte, and Jason Whyte of EY as well as the PFS’ chief executive Keith Richards.
Leading Financial Planner and author Chris Budd of Ovation Finance will also speak. Other speakers include ex-FCA executive Rory Percival, Justin Urquhart Stewart of 7IM and Mark Polson of the langcat consultancy.
The annual PFS Awards dinner will take place this evening.
A spokesman for the PFS said: “A superb line-up of speakers at this year’s Financial Planning Symposiums will harness a shared understanding of the power of these forces, helping to deliver practical insights for practitioners to help guide them in delivering the best outcomes for their clients.”
