A new 52 page risk profiling guide has been launched for Financial Planners and their clients.
Distribution Technology has created the publication to coincide with the 10th anniversary of Dynamic Planner, its digital risk profiling and Financial Planning service, which the firm said is used by over 9,000 Financial Planners.
The guide is designed to be used by planners with clients as part of their investment planning process to help explain the science behind risk profiling and asset allocation and help clients achieve their goals and ambitions with a suitable level of risk.
It sets out what might be expected for each risk profile as well as how each has performed historically.
Distribution Technology chief executive Ben Goss said: “More than 9,000 UK financial planners now rely on Dynamic Planner’s asset and risk model to risk profile clients, build risk based financial plans and select and monitor suitable investments.
“As a result we felt it was important to publish our 10 year results and do this in a way that not only helps firms see the accuracy and robustness of the service but also aids their discussions with clients on what risk means and what their range of likely returns may be”.
The company has also unveiled its new corporate branding.
Mr Goss said: “Looking ahead we will continue to build the Dynamic Planner brand as the gold standard both in the professional industry and within personal finance where there is an important job to be done in investor education.
“Hence the publication of our new guide and the creation of a new area on our website for financial services customers to learn more about the risk profiling and risk based Financial Planning service used by their Financial Planner or institution.”
