Investment research firm RSMR has built its own studio to launch regular podcasts through a new service called RSMR Connected.
The firm plans to expand RSMR Connected in 2021 and to add video content.
RSMR says the podcasts are being introduced to provide its adviser clients with “captivating and insightful commentary” from RSMR directors and investment research managers.
The West Yorkshire-based firm says the podcasts will initially provide commentary in “bite-size, portable chunks” on demand.
While the firm has invested in a custom-designed recording studio the team is currently using Zoom to record broadcasts remotely in line with government guidelines.
They hope to return to the office to enhance the sound quality of their podcasts once restrictions are eased.
The podcast commentaries will take a whole of market perspective and will aim to provide investment insights and answer adviser questions.
James Senior, the new head of marketing at RSMR, said: “It’s so hard for advisers to cut through the noise to get snappy insights they can use with their clients.
“So, we’re delighted to add RSMR Connected to our services; each podcast is an important story that our highly experienced investment research team believe advisers should know about, delivered in no more than 10 minutes.”
