Sackers & Partners LLP (Sackers), the specialist law firm for pensions and retirement savings, has hired two new associates.
The firm announced the hiring of Joseph Wood and Caroline Marshall yesterday.
Sackers says their arrival is part of the firm’s planned expansion programme and takes the total number of lawyers at Sackers to 61, 10 of whom have joined since the beginning of 2018.
Ian Pittaway, senior partner at Sackers, said: “It is vital that we invest in the recruitment of talent to ensure that we continue to deliver the very best service to new and existing clients. Joseph and Caroline add valuable resource and we are delighted to welcome them to Sackers.”
Mr Wood joined from Norton Rose Fulbright, where he qualified earlier this year.
At Sackers he will advise trustees and employers on “a wide range of defined benefit and defined contribution issues”.
Ms Marshall trained and qualified at Pinsent Masons.
She has joined Sackers’ specialist litigation team and will advise trustees and employers on all types of dispute from member complaints to High Court litigation.
