Sanlam hiring spree sees 8 join firm
Sanlam UK, part of global financial services group Sanlam Ltd, has announced a raft of eight new hires within its wealth planning team as the company continues to increase its UK-wide presence.
The firm’s teams in London, Bristol, Fareham and Preston have all seen their headcount increase, with new senior wealth planners joining their ranks.
All new members of the Bristol, Fareham and London offices will be reporting into Elliott Silk, head of commercial at Sanlam UK, and the Preston team will be assigned to Ian Martin, regional sales manager at Sanlam UK.
The London office has hired Sarb Chahal and Paul Johncock as senior wealth planners from Tideway Investment Partners and Close Brothers respectively.
Jean-Michel Morelli has also joined as a wealth planner in the Monument offices from St James’s Place.
The Fareham office will now also be supported by Paul Cadman who joins from NFU Mutual as a senior wealth planner.
Sanlam’s office in Bristol has appointed Stuart Arnold as a senior wealth planner, previously at Charles Darby, and Chris Halliwell, a wealth planner who joined from Create Financial Consulting.
Two additions were also made to the team in Preston, with Mike Walker joining from Prest and Jamie Reed moving from Pitch UK, both as wealth planners.
