Sipp provider Hornbuckle Mitchell has cut its Sipps set-up fees by 30 per cent to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The deal applies to all new single investment Sipps, full Sipps and flexible income pension plans (Fipps) being set up between 1 October and 31 December. Set-up fees will be reduced from £295 to £206. Hornbuckle Mitchell was set up in 1982 and now has offices in Leicester, Edinburgh and Cheshire, over 15,000 clients and an asset value of £4bn. Managing director Dave White said: "We are delighted to offer new Sipp members a 30 per cent discount to mark our three decades in the pensions market.
"It is fantastic to reach this milestone in the Hornbuckle Mitchell story. It has been an interesting and exciting 30 years and we thank all of our advisers and clients, each of whom has helped us create the company we are today." Director Mary Stewart said: "The company has gone from strength to strength and we continuously strive to deliver the industry leading service that advisers need; developing a broader product set, offering online functionality and investing in our people." The next step for the firm will be the launch of an eSipp in 2013.
