Smartphone portal launched by Financial Planning firm
A Financial Planning firm has launched a new service giving clients access to their personal financial information in one place via their smart-phone.
Towry described it as a “new online portal” which can be accessed via its main website and can be viewed on mobile phones, tablets or desktop computers.
The company said it was responding to the rising popularity in digital technology and demand from clients.
So far, the secure service called My Towry offers portfolio reporting, personal financial management, secure messaging and documents. It has incorporated Sammedia’s moneyinfo product, which enables clients to view the value of their advised assets alongside their bank accounts, credit cards, mortgages and loans. Clients will also be able to communicate with their wealth adviser through the system, and store personal financial documents in a secure and accessible manner.
Towry is running a pilot with a number of clients, saying it wants to ensure the service is best adapted to meet their financial needs.
