Chelmsford-based Solus Financial Planning has become a CISI Accredited Financial Planning firm.

This brings the total number of UK-wide CISI Accredited Financial Planning firms to 59.

To become accredited, firms must demonstrate to the CISI that they meet its set standards of excellence in Financial Planning.

Gavin Johnson, CFP Charted FCSI Financial Planning and founder of Solus, said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Solus Financial Planning has been awarded Accredited Financial Planning Firm status.

"To be recognised as meeting the exacting standards prescribed by the CISI in order to achieve this status is hugely rewarding and a validation of the core values and guiding principles that are the foundation of the firm.”

Solus Financial Planning was founded in 2022 in Chelmsford, Essex by Gavin Johnson.

Mr Johnson is a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society and Certified Financial Planner with the CISI.

The CISI is the professional body for Certified Financial Planners, with approximately 47,000 members worldwide.
