Sportsmen specialist Financial Planner gains new role
A Chartered Financial Planner who specialises in advising professional sportsmen has been made a partner at his firm.
Luke Brooks, who also advises partners in law firms, and entrepreneurs on their Financial Planning needs has been promoted at Smith & Williamson, the accountancy, investment management and tax group.
He is an associate member of the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute.
He said: “I am thrilled with my promotion, it will be an exciting and challenging development of my role which I am very much looking forward to.”
He has previously been named one of the top 100 ‘Up & Coming’ professionals by Citywealth and one of the top ’35 under 35’ by eprivateclient.

Rebecca Shepherd, a chartered member of the CISI, and Chris Springett, a chartered tax adviser have also been promoted to partner.
Ms Shepherd, who has a masters in Wealth Management, manages a broad selection of investment portfolios including those of individuals and pensions.
She provides coverage of the healthcare sector as well as reviewing ethical & environmental pooled funds.
