Sportsmen specialist Financial Planner joins Accredited firm
A Financial Planner who helps sportsmen manage their wealth has been hired by an Accredited Financial Planning Firm.
John Sloan has recently joined Navigator Financial Planning in Warrenpoint, Co Down, Northern Ireland, after working at Danske Bank.
He will also work for Destination Financial Planning, an online firm, linked through David Crozier, who owns and runs Navigator and is a director of Destination.
He has nearly 9 years of experience in financial services. His experience includes, increasingly, working with sports professionals to help ensure that they are making the most efficient use of their resources in relation to their own Financial Planning. His network of professional contacts includes a number of sports agents, his new firm said.
He has worked with a number of high profile firms including Edward Jones, an international firm of Stockbrokers.
Mr Sloan, who also works with business owners and other high net worth individuals, will be based at Navigator’s offices in both Warrenpoint and Belfast.
He will be responsible for Financial Planning for new and existing clients throughout Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK.
In a statement, Navigator said: “Aside from his wealth of experience - mostly through the financial crisis - John’s main strength is in his ability to build relationships.
“This strength has meant that John has acquired and worked alongside many clients over the years, providing sound financial advice as well as a high level of customer service - which in turn has led to happy clients referring family, friends and professional connections as new clients.
“Furthermore, John has also built a strong network of professional connections including solicitors, accountants and sports agents.”
