Succession adds FinaMetrica risk-profiling tools to service
Succession Group has added risk-tolerance tests from FinaMetrica to its service.
The three-year deal will see Succession's 300 Financial Planners use FinaMetrica's testing processes to determine risk tolerance, risk requirement and risk capacity.
This will ensure that Succession's investment solutions are correctly aligned with their clients' goals, says the firm.
Ian Shipway FIFP CFPCM, chair of the Succession Investment Committee which monitors fund performance and produces reports, said: "It is essential that the solution for clients meets their unique profiles. Understanding the client's risk tolerance is key, which is why FinaMetrica's market leading attitude-to-risk (ATR) tool has been selected as an intimate part of Succession Group's professional services model. We employ a three-prong approach embracing risk tolerance, risk requirement and risk capacity to ensure our recommended solutions are totally aligned to our clients goals."

Paul Resnik, co-founder of FinaMetrica, said: "We share a common understanding that accurately matching investments to the properly articulated needs of clients is the critical component of a defensible advice process. Amongst the larger adviser firms, Succession has set a standard for client intimacy that will deliver a clearly differentiated proposition."
