The holistic Financial Planning firm run by family of 4
When it comes to family run businesses, it could be hard to beat Chartered Financial Planning firm Unividual.
The company, whose head office is based in Hartham Park, near to Bath, has, at its core, no less than four family members.
Financial Planning Today magazine spoke to the business for the latest edition, which can be viewed in full HERE.
Cherie-Anne Baxter, director and shareholder of Unividual, explained more about the family connections.
She said: “John Baxter, my father, set up the firm. My mum, Angela Baxter, is company secretary.
“My brother, Lewis Baxter, joined the firm in 2009 and is now a Chartered Financial Planner and Director.
“He was Unividual’s first trainee, passing Diploma and Advanced Diploma exams in Financial Planning with the Chartered Insurance Institute and one of the youngest Fellows of the Personal Finance Society at the time.
“Having spent years surrounded by the industry it was always calling me. I joined in 2015 as a Chartered Marketing Director and shareholder of the business, alongside John and Lewis.”
She said that her firm is “really and truly are a holistic Financial Planning firm covering: business consultancy, estate planning, IHT and legacy creation, lending provision, post and pre-retirement planning, risk management and wealth management”.
