Tilney Bestinvest, the investment and Financial Planning group, has recruited Leon Buckley from FF&P Wealth Planning as director of Financial Planning.

Mr Buckley will be based in the firm's London office in Mayfair and will report Tim Stalkartt, managing director, Financial Planning.

Mr Buckley, a Chartered Financial Planner, has fourteen years' advisory experience. He joins Tilney Bestinvest from FF&P Wealth Planning where he had worked since 2010. At FF&P Wealth Planning, he worked with HNW clients, including advising partners of top tier legal and accountancy practices and entrepreneurs. He previously spent three years as an IFA at Cavanagh Financial Management, working mainly in the legal and media sectors.

At Tilney Bestinvest, his role will focus on developing connections with partners of professional firms. His appointment will also expand the capability of the firm's London Financial Planning practice, says Tilney. The practice operates on a 'two experts' system – matching a Financial Planner and investment manager in order to aim for a superior outcome for clients.
