Tilney has snapped up a Chartered Financial Planner as its hiring spree continues.
Tony Linnane, a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, has joined the Chelmsford office from Attivo.
His previous firms have included SP Financial Planning and Lloyds Banking Group.
Tilney cited his “significant experience building relationships with HNW private clients and professional connections and takes a holistic approach to advising clients” for hiring him.
The Financial Planning business started a hiring drive for “high calibre Financial Planners” when it announced in January that it had rebranded as the Tilney Group.
Richard Dawes, regional head of Financial Planning at Tilney, said: “Tony is a highly-qualified individual with a track record of developing a professional network from which he can build up a client base.
“He believes strongly in his continued professional development in order to offer his client the highest level of service. As we continue to expand our financial services team, we will be looking for financial planners, like Tony, who can offer the best possible service to our clients.”
Tilney announced a major rebrand in January following the takeover of Towry.
The enlarged Tilney Group is a nationwide firm with over 300 Financial Planners, investment managers and advisers supporting over 100,000 clients from a network of 30 offices across the UK, the company stated.
