Tilney recruits Financial Planner from St James's Place
UK wealth management group Tilney has appointed Grant Morrice as a Financial Planner.
Mr Morrice will join the Tilney team in Edinburgh, which this month relocated to a new, larger office in Morrison Street, to accommodate its ongoing expansion.
He joins from St James’s Place where he ran his own practice for over four years.
Prior to this, he worked with Aberdein Considine based out of their Perth, Edinburgh & Glasgow offices.
In Tilney’s Edinburgh team, Mr Morrice will deliver advice as part of the firm’s ‘two expert’ approach which sees Financial Planners paired alongside the firm’s investment managers “to provide a high quality integrated wealth management service to clients”.
Tilney one of a handful of firms with an office presence in the Scotland’s three largest cities: Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
The business has made a number of new hires in Scotland in recent months.
In Edinburgh these have included Ronnie Binnie as managing partner for Edinburgh and Aberdeen, Nadia Atanasov as an associate Financial Planner and Graham Murphy and James Reekie as associate advisers.
Paul Frame, head of the Scotland and Northern Ireland for the Tilney Group, said: “This is a hugely exciting time for the business in Scotland, with the recent opening of our new, bigger office in Edinburgh, as well as the significant expansion the team has seen in recent months.
“Grant is the latest in a number of highly talented people who have joined us and I am delighted to welcome him to the team.”
