Tilney returns to Cardiff as it recommits to Wales
Wealth Manager and Financial Planner Tilney Smith & Williamson has agreed terms for a new office in Cardiff.
The firm previously had an office in the Welsh capital but the lease ended during 2020.
Tilney said the new office at Brunel House in Fitzalan Road was a sign of the firm’s commitment to develop its client base in Wales.
The team in Cardiff supports clients from across Wales with Financial Planning services. It has a focus on working with entrepreneurs, SMEs and owner-manager businesses providing estate, legacy and succession planning advice and retirement planning services.
All of the firm’s Financial Planners in Cardiff hold Chartered Financial Planner status.
Niraj Vyas, head of Tilney Smith & Williamson’s Cardiff office, said: “When the lease expired on our previous Cardiff office while our people were working from home during last year’s lockdown we were clear that we wanted to find a new space in the city to ensure we could continue to serve our clients locally in a convenient location.
“There have been considerable advances in technology in recent years allowing more meetings to be conducted remotely, but many of our clients have told us again and again that they value the ability to be able to meet with our team face-to-face. Our new office also offers plenty of space for our team to collaborate when they aren’t out meeting our clients across Wales.
Tilney added that the firm is seeing “considerable growth” for its services from clients in Wales.
