Tilney sets up new Financial Planning team
Wealth management group Tilney has established a Financial Planning team to cover Winchester and the surrounding area.
While Tilney has an existing office in Micheldever, close to Winchester, the office has previously focused exclusively on providing investment management services to private clients.
This is the first time that dedicated Financial Planners will be based in the office.
Steve McNamara has joined from national advice firm Chase de Vere where he worked for five years as a Financial Planner.
Prior to this he worked in a technical capacity for Financial Planning firms including pension provider Old Mutual Wealth.
Also joining the team is Hollee Vivian who joined Tilney four years ago as financial adviser based in Bracknell after graduating with a law degree.
She holds diplomas from the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Insurance Institute is now an associate Financial Planner.
Tilney says team is able to provide Financial Planning advice on “a wide ranging of needs including pensions and retirement planning, inheritance and estate planning, tax efficiency, saving for children and education fees, protection and making financial gifts”.
As part of Tilney’s ‘dual expert’ approach, they will work alongside, the firm’s investment managers to provide an integrated wealth management service.
Chris Copley, managing partner for the Financial Planning South Coast Team for the Tilney Group, said: “We are delighted to expand our financial planning team in the South of the country and this marks the first time we have had a planning financial presence in Winchester.
“Steve is a highly experienced planner and I am thrilled to welcome him to the team.
