Tilney Smith & Williamson hires Planner from SJP

Wealth manager Tilney Smith & Williamson has recruited a new Financial Planner from St James’s Place for its Chelmsford Tilney Financial Planning team.
Shaf Hussain joins from Pinnacle Wealth Management, an appointed representative of St. James’s Place.
He worked at Pinnacle for four years as a financial adviser focusing on advising City professionals, business owners and family clients.
He holds an Investment advice diploma from the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments and is a graduate of the University of Kingston.
Prior to their merger in September, both Tilney and Smith & Williamson migrated to a remote working model.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic the firm says it is continuing to recruit.
Nick Geere, managing partner at Tilney Financial Planning, said: “With the ongoing financial uncertainty caused by the pandemic, it is imperative to have professional financial advice and I am delighted to welcome Shaf to our team in Essex.
“Despite all the challenges that lockdown has brought, we are very pleased to have continued to hire new talent. This is a very exciting time for the business, as we come together to offer an unrivalled proposition spanning both wealth management and professional services to our clients.”
