IFP board opportunity for Financial Planners
Financial Planners hoping to become one of three new members of the IFP board have only until tomorrow to apply.
The organisation has been calling for CFPCM professionals to put their case forward for the trio of vacant positions.
The board member role is a voluntary position.
The IFP said it was keen to encourage individuals with appropriate experience to put themselves up for election to the board in 2014.
A director will serve for an initial three year term and may be re-elected for a second term although if they go on to serve the organisation as Vice President and ultimately President, it can be slightly longer.
Hopefuls must be proposed and seconded by current IFP members.

The IFP said: "It is important that the IFP board attracts a variety of candidates with different yet complementary experiences as its key role is to oversee the strategy of the organisation.
"The board would particularly welcome applications from those with experience in marketing and accounting.
"If you think that you have the right credentials and would like to be considered for the role then please contact Amanda Watson for further details and an application form."
Tomorrow is the last chance for candidates to apply.
The board will review the candidates and once approved, the member voting process will be completed early in September.
The successful candidates will then be announced at the October AGM at Celtic Manor.
