Transact wins UK Platform of the Year Award
Transact has scooped the UK Platform of the Year 2023 Award in the Schroders UK Platform Awards held in London last night.
More than 500 guests attended the black tie awards evening hosted by broadcaster and writer Kate Silverton for the 14th time.
The annual awards were held at the Hilton Park Lane in London’s West End and included a tribute to former Transact CEO Ian Taylor and Quilter exec David Tiller who both died unexpectedly last year.
The winners were selected either by adviser votes or through a judging panel chaired by former PFS CEO Keith Richards, chair of the Financial Vulnerability Taskforce.
Among the leading awards, Transact won Platform of the Year with Fidelity Adviser Solutions in second place and Parmenion third.
Among the adviser awards the Leading adviser practice (up to 10 advisers) went to Thomas & Thomas Ethical Investment with runner up Britannic Financial Management. Leading adviser business (over 10 advisers) went to EQ Investors with Clifton Wealth Partnership second.
The Best Platform Service Award went to True Potential with Dynamic Planner winning Leading Planning Tool with Defaqto runner up.
UK Platform Awards organiser Clive Waller said: "Last night was amazing. Every intermediary platform was there. It’s almost like a club, with Kate Silverton hosting magnificently and professionally as ever. The event demonstrates the health and robustness of the sector as new platforms adopt new technology and keep the older players on their game. The sector is in a very good place."
