Theresa May’s top team who will be overseeing departments related to financial services has taken shape.
David Gauke is the latest Government appointment since Mrs May became Prime Minister, becoming the new Chief Secretary to the Treasury. Mr Gauke became Financial Secretary to the Treasury in July 2014. After his promotion this week, he will be attending Cabinet meetings.
Damian Green has become Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. He served as Minister for Policing, Criminal Justice and Victims (jointly with the Home Office) from September 2012 to July 2014. He was Minister of State for Immigration from May 2010 to September 2012.
Former Foreign Secretary Phillip Hammond takes over from Geroge Osborne as Chancellor.
