Two more join list of 36 IFP Accredited Financial Planning Firms
Two more firms have been recognised as Accredited Financial Planning FirmsTM by the Institute of Financial Planning.
London-based Evolve Financial Planning and Leicestershire-based Chesterton House have both been awarded the title.
There are now 36 firms on the register which recognises firms offering a comprehensive Financial Planning service.
To be recognised as an Accredited Financial Planning Firm, firms must show they follow the IFP’s code of ethics and practice and demonstrate the highest standards of Financial Planning practice.
Jason Witcombe, director at Evolve Financial Planning, said: “Peace of mind is important to us and we want clients to see they are being dealt with by a well qualified adviser who is established and recognised in a professional context, rather than a maverick.
“We’d like to think some people were sitting at home over Christmas thinking they need to sort out their finances and would use the Accredited Finanical Planning firms register as a starting point rather than searching randomly on Google.”
Nick Cann, chief executive of the IFP, said: “To date we have now recognised 37 firms who have met the demanding standards to become Accredited Financial Planning Firms.
“Accredited Firms represent the ultimate standard of excellence for Financial Planning firms to aspire towards.
“There is a real need for consumers to gain access to appropriate Financial Planning services and these firms, alongside all CFPCM professionals, are ideally placed to deliver just that.”
A full register of Accredited Financial Planning Firms is now available on the IFP website.
