Two new faces join IFP team at Bristol HQ
Two new members of staff have joined the Institute of Financial Planning to help with membership and qualifications.
Melanie King has joined as membership co-ordinator. She will be taking over temporarily from Rachel Weihs who is off on a volunterering sabbatical shortly.
Ms King's previous work includes organising a conference in Bilbao and being a PA at Avon and Somerset Police. Her role at the IFP will involve responsibility for membership applications, renewals and the IFP branch network.
Ms Weihs will depart in September but has already been working closely with Ms King.
Ms King said: "I'm so pleased to have joined the IFP team. I'm learning so much from Rachel about IFP's membership process, its members and branches and am looking forward to speaking and meeting IFP members over the next few months.

At FPSB UK, the IFP subsidiary which provides qualifications, Milena Obrostek is taking over from Dave Hurst who left in May.
She joins from Sipp provider Curtis Bank where she worked as operational support.
Ms Obrostek said: "My background in financial services has been a big help, and I'm gradually getting to grips with all the processes and procedures around our qualifications. It's great to see lots of members are keen to boost their professional credentials and take FPSB UK qualifications like CFPCM certification. I'm looking forward to supporting them as they go through the process."
