Welsh Financial Planning firm to hire 10 new advisers
A Welsh Financial Planning business is looking to expand rapidly after becoming directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Newport-headquartered Seer Green said it is looking at recruiting at least ten more financial advisers over the next six to twelve months.
It comes after recently gaining the FCA endorsement. It spent the first 5 years regulated within a wider financial services network before becoming directly authorised.
Siobhan Thomas Dip PFS, one of the two founders of Seer Green, said: “Receiving this approval by the FCA and becoming directly authorised is a great boost for the business, and is a culmination of the quality and consistency of all the hard work by the whole team.
“Being DA means we now have more control of our business and our processes, which is great news for our clients, both corporate and personal – and to be approved by the FCA in this way means we are recognised as having a good, sustainable business.”
Ms Thomas, whose expertise comes in pensions, said: “As well as taking on ten or more advisers to work at Seer Green over the coming months, our new status also means we can provide the regulatory network for IFAs wishing to stay working on their own but who need the support from a larger network for their compliance and other services.
“As we are newly-authorised and have less overheads than the much larger firms we can offer this support at genuinely competitive rates, and with a more personal touch and attention to detail.”
Seer Green provides advice for businesses and individuals regarding mortgages, investments, tax planning, pensions, and insurance.
The business was founded in 2010 and from its head office at the Celtic Springs Business Park in Newport has built up a portfolio of clients across Wales and the South West of England.
