Women’s advice firm expands nationwide
Wealth manager and Financial Planner Independent Women has expanded across the UK following its acquisition by Mazars.
Founded by Lesley Mackintosh in 1997, Independent Women offers specialist wealth management and Financial Planning for female clients.
Independent Women works with thousands of female clients and is now expanding its presence in Mazars’ regional offices.
Independent Women became part of Mazars in 2022. Ms Mackintosh continues to lead to firm as well as holding the role of partner at Mazars.
The firm has expanded nationwide with the addition of seven new advisers working from Mazars’ regional offices.
The appointments include Hina Desai, a partner in in the Nottingham office and Allie Llewellyn who is based in Birmingham.
Natalie Wright is a partner in the Leeds office who specialises in planning for female business owners and Jayne Wildish, based in London, who specialises in separation and divorce. Jennifer Massey is also based in London.
In Scotland, Lindsey Docherty works alongside Lesley Mackintosh in Edinburgh, with Katherine Diamond based in Glasgow.
The team offer wealth and estate planning, tax and accountancy guidance, cashflow planning and protection. They also offer investment advice, with a specialism in ethical investing.
