Yorkshire Financial Planning firm gains CISI Accredited status
A Yorkshire Financial Planning business has earned CISI Accredited Financial Planning Firm status.
Leeds-based Glennan Wealth Management becomes the latest to join a list of 76 Accredited Firms.
Lee Glennan, MD of Glennan Wealth Management, said: “I am really proud to see our little Yorkshire based, family practice join such prestigious company in becoming the UK’s 76th Accredited Financial Planning Firm! It’s a great pleasure to work in such a wonderful profession. What success we had has been due in no small part to the kindness, generosity and encouragement of our peers.”
For a firm to become an Accredited Financial Planning Firm it must:
• show evidence that it meets strict criteria in relation to the delivery of financial planning
• place clients at the heart of its business proposition and ensure they receive consistently excellent service
• re-confirm it meets the standards on an annual basis to retain its Accredited Financial Planning Firm status.
In addition, at least 50% of the firm’s FCA registered advisers must be qualified as a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional or Chartered Financial Planner (with AF5). At least one director/partner of the firm must be a current CFP professional.
Sam Rees-Adams, CISI’s head of external accreditation, said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Glennan Wealth Management as our latest Accredited Financial Planning Firm.
“They have been accepted into an elite group of firms by meeting a range of strict criteria, all of which are genuine indicators of quality. They have joined our register of firms by demonstrating dedication to putting the client at the centre of their business. We congratulate them on joining the Accredited Financial Planning Firm community.”
