Mr Mason takes over from Niall Humphreys, who is retiring, and will be responsible for Beaufort Financial’s advice process, including procedures and regulatory expectations.
He has over 15 years of experience in Financial Planning including roles at Retirement Line, Age Partnership Wealth Management and Prudential Financial Planning.
He said: “Demand for trusted financial advice has never been greater, so this is a fantastic time to be joining the business. Niall has built a great proposition for Beaufort Financial clients during his time here and I look forward to taking on his mantle and playing my part in its continued development, working with the team to help more people meet their financial goals.”
Beaufort is looking to continue its recent expansion.
In 2019 the group announced several new partnerships including with Akrivis Wealth in the North East, Corfe Wealth Management in Surrey, and absorbing a local advice firm with £50m under management in Liverpool.
The group was established in 2012 and has headquarters in Surrey and offices throughout the UK.
The group also owns a discretionary fund management company, Beaufort Investment Management.
