The IFP is working with Money Management Magazine again this year to deliver the ultimate in adviser awards. They are based on candidates’ detailed responses to one of a series of case studies using no more than 2,500 words. All case studies have been supplied by the IFP and will challenge your knowledge and skill as a planner.

Candidates can select from a range of case studies but those entering three of these or more will be considered for the overall Financial Planner of the Year award.

This has a significant prize of £5,000 as well as the kudos of winning. Having won the title in 2010 and 2011 Matthew Hodge CFP^CM is clearly the one to beat. Awards will be presented at The Dorchester in November.

Sue Leech, IFP education director, said: “Entering certainly involves hard work, but it’s a great opportunity to establish yourself among the Financial Planning elite as well as to prove your abilities to your clients and prospective clients. It also qualifies for unstructured CPD.”
