The pair of Financial Planners have worked at Acumen for 17 and 14 years respectively.

Ms Morgan has worked in the Acumen Financial Planning division since she joined as a graduate in 2005 and is one of the company’s most experienced senior Financial Planners. She specialises in family wealth planning.

Mr Mackenzie joined Acumen in 2008 as a Financial Planner. Also a senior Financial Planner, he specialises in pension transfers and family wealth planning.

The Financial Planning Group is the parent company for Acumen Financial Planning, Acumen Employee Benefits, SpringGen Advice, Medical & Dental Financial Planners, Enrich Tax Consutancy, and Lock Fyne Financial.

It was established in 2017.

The Financial Planning Group recently launched a subscription-based online financial advice service aimed at younger professionals “priced out” of independent financial advice with fees starting from £75.

The online service called Beanstalk has been pioneered by north-east-Scotland-based Financial Planner Jenny Madhoo.
