At Nutmeg she was executive director of wealth services.

She has previously had extensive experience of working in a range of transformational and leadership roles in financial services.  

In her new role Ms Kingman will head a business of 40 Financial Planners and team leaders, who will report directly to her, the bank said.

Coutts said the new role will enable it to deepen its relationships with clients and provide access to Financial Planning experts with specialist knowledge of their wealth management needs.

Ms Kingman has previously held senior roles with Fidelity, Nutmeg and JP Morgan Chase and has extensive experience in building a seamless client experience while developing and aligning technology and digital capability.
