The move means that the company's wealth management businesses in the UK, Europe and offshore locations, previously known as Collins Stewart Wealth Management, and Eden Financial, have been rebranded as Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management. Canaccord acquired Collins Stewart Hawkpoint for £253m in 2011.

As a result of renaming, the company says that its wealth management operations in the UK, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Switzerland, Canada and Australia now share the same brand. In the UK and Europe, Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management has six offices, providing on and offshore wealth management services to individual investors, charities and institutions.
The company's investment professionals and portfolio managers in the region oversee £10bn of client assets. Globally, Canaccord Genuity manages and administers approximately £17bn of client assets.

In the last two years Canaccord has integrated its brands around the world and the revamp means integration of the following brands:
• Collins Stewart Wealth Management (UK and Europe)
• the wealth management business of Eden Financial (UK)
• Canaccord Wealth Management (Canada)
• BGF Equities (Australia)

The initiative completes the global integration of all wealth management businesses on Canaccord's platform. The company says the name Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management also better aligns the division with the brand of Canaccord Genuity, the company's investment banking and capital markets division.
