Of the seven trade monthly magazines surveyed by organisers Richmond Events, Financial Planner was voted the second most read with nearly 30 per cent of all delegates reporting that they had read Financial Planner in the previous four weeks.
Delegates also gave Financial Planner the second highest score for "most thoroughly read monthly", and delegates also named Financial Planner as the second most popular title if they had to choose only one monthly magazine to read.
It was the first time Financial Planner has been included in the survey.
Financial Planner Online, launched 2.5 years ago, also fared well, beating several other industry websites for 'most viewed over the last 7 days' and it was in line with many much longer established site when delegates were asked which site they would view if they could only view one website.

Money Management magazine, which runs the annual Financial Planner of the Year awards in co-operation with the IFP, was named the most read monthly magazine.

"It underlines the interest in Financial Planning and the widespread support for the magazine as a professional publication of value and usefulness to its readership."
PIMS, a conference for senior financial intermediaries, is held on board a luxury cruise liner each year and this year set sail in May on the Aurora. There were 48 product providers and suppliers on board along with 175 delegates. Event organiser Richmond Events conducts detailed readership of delegates each year and this year 154 delegates (88 per cent of the total) took part in the survey.
