Gibson Financial Planning has become the latest IFP Accredited Financial Planning FirmTM.
The new status, granted by the The Institute of Financial Planning, was announced on the Northern Ireland-based firm's website this morning.
David Gibson, director of Gibson Financial Planning, wrote on his blog: "When the register was first announced I looked at it with longing but deep down I didn't think we were good enough.
"However, I am never happy standing still and I decided that I would seek accreditation.
"It has been a long and rigorous process and all of our processes, business accounts, documents and sample client reports have been audited by the board of the Institute of Financial Planning. Passing this audit has been a huge validation for us and the effort we put in to put the needs of our clients first."

To successfully meet the criteria Gibson Financial Planning had to demonstrate that it provided a comprehensive Financial Planning service for clients – as well as a commitment to the IFP's Code of Ethics and Practice Standards and having appropriately trained and qualified staff.
Mr Gibson added: "Gibson Financial Planning is delighted to have achieved this powerful recognition of our commitment to professionalism and outstanding client service."
